Usually co-stars don’t choose to coordinate ensembles on the red carpet. It can make for somewhat awkward photos, you see. But Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale threw caution to the wind and went for the matchy-matchy look in similar cerulean footwear yesterday for their Total Recall Berlin photocall.
Biel’s watercolor two-piece Christian Cota number was a perfectly dreamy pairing for her sandals, even if it was a tad young for the star. Her looks throughout the promotional tour seem to have gotten increasingly girlish, from the sophisticated Christian Dior Couture she sported on the West Coast red carpet to the lacy Elie Saab frock she wore to the New York premiere.
Beckinsale, meanwhile, looked utterly elegant in a violet fitted dress with voluminous sleeves worn with a pair of vertiginous suede Christian Louboutin platforms.
The girls looked good, no doubt about it. But who wore their true blue shoes best?
