PHOTOS: Who Was Best Dressed On Last Night’s Red Carpets?

Last night saw two big movie premieres: Total Recall in New York and The Campaign in Los Angeles. In general, the ladies on both coasts did reasonably well. Everyone looked red-carpet ready, and we didn’t spot anything ill-fitting, which is half the battle. That said, a lot of the ensembles were still pretty “meh”, and obviously some did better than others.

These are our standouts of the night (all of which are from the Total Recall premiere, oddly enough). Jessica Biel killed it in Elie Saab Couture. Although we loved that Christian Dior Couture dress from the West Coast premiere, this overall look is way better. At first glance, we thought that she could’ve done without the matching shawl, but the drama it adds is growing on us. Also, Biel sported perfect accessories like an Elie Saab clutch and Jimmy Choo pumps. Two thumbs up! Another one of our favorites was Coco Rocha. We love fierce detailing on a simple garment, and that black dress with gilded sleeves is awesome.

As with all red carpet events, someone has to be worst dressed, and last night it was (drumroll please) … Dan Abrams! Just kidding, we wanted to make him worst dressed because he’s our boss and hilarity would undoubtedly ensue at the Abrams Media offices, but unfortunately, he looks really nice. All jokes aside, the worst dressed winner (loser?) actually goes to Shamone Jardim, whose look reminds us of one of the tacky dresses at our senior prom. Also on the less sartorially savvy end of the curve were Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra, because although we love Costello Tagliapietra, this is not a lumberjack convention.
